We are still planting and harvesting. Cabbage and brussel sprouts are ready this week. String beans and corn will be next week. They did not get the memo for this weekend! New beans and spinach going into the hoop house.
This is the first year that the farm has any apples. Not enough to sell but they made some awesome Apple Crisp! In addition, we have some great lentil Swiss Chard soup that I made while waiting for the Crisp to bake. Quiche today along with some other baked goods.
Veggies available: carrots, eggplant, kale, Swiss Chard, globe turnips, sorrel, peppers and of course, tomatoes and herbs.
