This winter is soon to be a memory, finally! Our days are being spent getting ready for our best season ever with an active itch to start planting and playing again in the dirt.
February was a busy month for us. All the certification paperwork and agricultural related applications were completed for yet another year. It's given us a chance to look back at last year and make adjustments moving forward. Hind sight- We need more tomatoes!! This year we will see over 600 tomato plants of more than a dozen varieties. Another continuing process is propagating all of our berry bushes to meet the increased demand for Shady Acres Provisions.
Along with the tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, peppers and eggplant were also started. When we long for spring all we do is go look at our little seedlings and all is well with the world!
