Well we finally picked all the pears. Matt's prediction was 1000 lbs. He was close--800lbs of pears! That's a lot of jam! We are working feverishly to use them up before they get too ripe.
To offer you this week, we have our lovely kale, beautiful spinach, butternut and acorn squash, carrots, beets, turnips, some tomatoes. sorrel and a variety of herbs. I may even part with some pears!
Our prepared meals are Mexican quinoa salad, spicy black beansoup, and back by popular demand butternut/ apple soup.
Quiches and bread are in the oven. Hope to see you today 11-4.
