Autumn is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the weather, the colors, the smells and of course the harvest. Even more I love comfort food. There is nothing better than a cup of soup with some homemade bread!
Beautiful breads just came out of the oven. Little pumpkin breads, English muffin bread and absolutely delicious whole wheat bread. (The picture is on Facebook--have not figured out yet how to post it here)
This week instead of quiche we will have Cream of Broccoli and Butternut Squash soups.
Our lettuce has grown and is ready for picking along with the kale, Swiss chard, beets, carrots, kohlrabi and sorrel. Joining this selection is winter squash and of course our signature jams.
See you Saturday 11-4. In case of rain, I am moving the stand to the bottom of the barn.
