They are late this year but they are now coming in strong.  Along with the tomatoes we also have our first corn to offer.  Beets, carrots, kale, Swiss Chard, leeks, summer squash have all greeted the new additions with excitement!  See you all Saturday and Sunday 11-4.

We will now be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4 for the month of August.  The rain has given us an abundance of veggies looking for a home!  Tomatoes are also starting to get ready.  Currently the yellow beefsteaks and the black krim are showing up.  Red ones to follow soon.  Hope you can stop by. 

Update 7/28/18

We finally got some rain--didn't we! Maybe a little more than I needed but sure helped.

Cucumbers and summer squash are flourishing.  Cabbage loved it.  Tomatoes have grown about a foot and need to be cut back (hopefully tomorrow when it is dry). Slowly turning--not ready yet!

We are open every Saturday 11-4.  This week we have cucumbers, carrots, beets, summer squash, kale, Swiss chard, cabbage, scallions, leeks, fennel, assorted herbs and all of our delicious prepared food and jams.  Hope to see you all.

And So It Begins.....

Finally, all the tomatoes and crops have been planted despite mother nature's delays.  3 weeks late but still plenty of time.

We are currently open on Saturdays 11-4 (except for June 9th when we are closed for a wedding).  Asparagus, kale, swiss chard, lettuce, sorrel, turnips and herbs are currently available along with our prepared meals, baked goods and of course, our jams and granola.

Looking Forward To Another Great Season

Despite this uncertain weather, planting has begun. The wait is on for the asparagus, sorrel and spinach that waits for no one. In the meantime, The Farm will be open Saturdays from 11-2 until the end of June when we will be fully open for the season on Saturday and Sunday.  Currently we are offering prepared meals, baked goods, jams and other goodies.  Check out our "To Stay or Go" selections under our kitchen offerings for parties and get togethers. 

Almost Time!

Seeds have been sorted and some have been ordered.  Planting seedlings will begin in February.  Today spinach and radishes are getting planted in the hoop house.

Some workshops have been scheduled.  Our most popular workshop for jam and jellies is the first.  Check out our workshops for Organic Gardening 101 which are also coming up soon.  In addition, our kids workshop coloring Easter Eggs using organic dyes and recycled materials was so much fun last year we will be offering it again.

We will be open this weekend 10/21 and10/22 and next weekend.  Our last day of the season will be 10/29.

After a short rest we will reopen on 11/11 and 11/18 and then again on 12/2 and 12/9.

Think of us for your holiday side dishes and of course, our jams as great gifts.

Fall Update

Love this weather and this time of year! I does come with a bit of sadness knowing that the season will soon be over. But new veggies are emerging--carrots, Brussel sprouts, spaghetti squash(maybe), and all the summer favorites. Tomatoes will be over soon. We are still open every Saturday and Sunday 11-4.

We are now open for the season every Saturday and Sunday from 11-4.  The Kale and Swiss Chard are ready as are collards, lettuce, radishes, fennel, sorrel and herbs.  Tomatoes in the hoop house are huge but not quite ready yet.  Fresh quiches, baked goods and of course our jams are all excited to be available.  Hope to see you soon!

We are open today 11-4.  Lettuce, arugula, sorrel, radishes, and a limited offering of asparagus are on the produce menu.  Our kitchen is full of baked goods and provisions.  Quiches, fruit cobbler, bread, muffins, cookies, homemade granola and our jams are ready for a good home!  Hope to see you this weekend.

Finally, SPRING!  So many exciting things going on.  250 tomato plants are in the hoop house and thriving.  The other 300will go out when the spring nights are a bit warmer.  Asparagus and sorrel have popped through and fingers crossed that the fruit and berry blossoms will be spared by any unexpected freeze.

We have been very pleased with the turn out we are getting for our various events.  Our organic egg coloring workshop was a hit. Our Organic Gardening class went over so well we have another one scheduled for this Sunday April 30th from 1-3.  Not too late to sign up.  If you are interested in workshops and do not see them scheduled yet, contacted us.  We usually schedule them the beginning of each month. We will have a few Jam and Jelly workshops in May in preparation for the strawberry harvest.

Happy January everyone!  Now that the Holidays are over and we got some much needed down time, we are ready to start the season once again.  Before planting begins in February, we are getting back into the swing of things with prepared food and scheduled workshops.

We will be open this Saturday from 11-4 and other select Saturdays.  We have the following available:  Our popular quiches, baked goods, grain salads, soups and of course, our jams and delicious granola.  Some root vegetables are available also. Stop by.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and thanks for yet another amazing season of Farming and Jamming!  We have come a long way since 7 years ago when we had an idea to grow some Certified Organic Veggies.  

We are grateful to our local community, friends and helpers, and to our retailers who believe in what we create.  Thank you all so much!

We now  have so much more to look forward to with Sasha coming on board to coordinate and manage our Wedding and Farm Events.  There is some landscaping still to be done, but we will be holding our first wedding on sight this spring and we CAN NOT wait.

See you again in March!  Until then,  grab some Jams from The Barn for some great holiday gifts :)

Just 2 more Saturdays left and we will be closing for the season.  Tomatoes are still plentiful as are winter squash, kale, peppers, carrots, beets, and a variety of herbs.  Soup is on the stove and quiches with other baked goods always available on Saturdays. Don't forget to order jams for those Holiday gifts!  Hope to see 11-4

Only a few Saturdays left.  We will be closing on 10/15.  We have all the fall favorites:  Butternut Squash, Acorn Squash, beets, carrots, kale, peppers, some eggplant left, and of course our heirloom tomatoes--especially the wonderful plum tomatoes for sauce.  See you later--11-4.

Don't you just love this weather!  Its finally a pleasure to work outside.  Tomatoes are still in full swing as are the Kale and Collards.  Sadly, a new crop of beans was devoured by a family of deer.  But we have broccoli, eggplant, carrots and lots of other stuff.  Hope to see you later 11-4.
