Despite this uncertain weather, planting has begun. The wait is on for the asparagus, sorrel and spinach that waits for no one. In the meantime, The Farm will be open Saturdays from 11-2 until the end of June when we will be fully open for the season on Saturday and Sunday. Currently we are offering prepared meals, baked goods, jams and other goodies. Check out our "To Stay or Go" selections under our kitchen offerings for parties and get togethers.
Seeds have been sorted and some have been ordered. Planting seedlings will begin in February. Today spinach and radishes are getting planted in the hoop house.
Some workshops have been scheduled. Our most popular workshop for jam and jellies is the first. Check out our workshops for Organic Gardening 101 which are also coming up soon. In addition, our kids workshop coloring Easter Eggs using organic dyes and recycled materials was so much fun last year we will be offering it again.

Our Organic Gardening class went over so well we have another one scheduled for this Sunday April 30th from 1-3. Not too late to sign up. If you are interested in workshops and do not see them scheduled yet, contacted us. We usually schedule them the beginning of each month. We will have a few Jam and Jelly workshops in May in preparation for the strawberry harvest.
